How do I receive a quote for an electric tuk tuk?
E-mail us at info@etukam.com or call us at 630-441-4286 for a quote. We will walk you through the options and timing to make your ideal configuration a reality.
How much money does an electric tuk tuk cost?
Pricing is dependent upon the configuration that you select and how much outfitting that we need to do to meet your specifications. E-mail or call us for a quote.
Do you offer financing?
We work with several banking partners that we can refer you to that can finance a purchase with Etuk Americas. We can put you in touch with them, and they can approve you for a credit limit with us just as you would if you were purchasing a passenger vehicle.
Do you require a deposit?
We may require a deposit for special orders, depending upon your chosen financing. Deposits or an executed financing agreement are due prior to shipment from our manufacturing center in Richmond, Virginia.
How long will it take for me to receive my new electric tuk tuk?
Current lead times are 8–12 weeks. Lead times are tentative; confirmed at time of order and deposit receipt; on a first-in/first-out basis; subject to factory allocation; dependent upon final configuration; and subject to modification as we are notified of delays in transport or components. Having said that, we will always make every effort to fulfill your project's deadline and provide you with updates as soon as we receive them.
What is your warranty policy?
Although we only provide a one-year warranty, we do offer extended warranties, so please inquire about them. We will continue to make every effort to assist whenever and wherever we can. We adore satisfied clients.
What if I need parts or service?
We are the official authorized source for E-Tuk Factory parts and service in North America. If your tuk needs servicing, we will work with you to determine the most cost-effective solution to get you back on the road. Depending upon the age of your tuk-tuk, we may have service parts available, and you should contact us for pricing, availability, and lead time. Our newer tuk-tuks sold and manufactured have a more standardized design and therefore have more spare parts available should you need them.
I have an idea for a franchise or I am interested in purchasing a franchise. Can you help?
We have a partner in the tour space that will be offering a unique franchise in the coming few months. We are happy to connect you if that is of interest. If you are looking to start your own franchise, please contact us, and we can discuss your specific concept with a signed non-disclosure agreement.
How fast do your electric tuk tuks go? What is their range on a single charge?
Configuration and weight can change the answer to this question, but, in general, our tuk-tuks are considered low-speed vehicles and have a maximum speed of 25 mph and go approximately 100 miles on a charge.
Are your vehicles Department of Transportation compliant?
All of our vehicles have the FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Sticker) and unique VIN. Our vehicles are fully DOT and NHTSA compliant and registered.
